Arup, a global leader in engineering and sustainable design, recently relocated to a new office space in Leeds, aiming to create a highly efficient, future-proof workplace that aligns with their commitment to sustainability and employee well-being. The new office features an open, collaborative environment with a strong focus on energy efficiency and occupant comfort.

Oxbridge Lighting played a key role in designing and supplying a cutting-edge LED lighting system that aligned with Arup’s sustainability vision. We provided high-efficiency luminaires made from recycled materials with a low embodied carbon footprint, ensuring minimal environmental impact. The lighting design incorporated tunable white technology to support circadian rhythms, enhancing employee well-being and productivity. Additionally, we integrated a DALI-enabled smart control system optimizing energy efficiency by adjusting light levels based on natural daylight. To complement the office’s modern aesthetic, we also supplied custom-designed feature lighting, blending functionality with architectural elegance and colors. The result was a sustainable, intelligent, and visually appealing lighting solution that supports Arup’s long-term environmental and operational goals.
